🟡Notice to Parents and Students  

1. Tuition Fees 💰  

• Students must pay the next term’s tuition fee one week before the last lesson of the current term to secure their place. Otherwise, MAC Education Centre reserves the right to reallocate the student’s time slot to students on the waiting list without prior notice.  

• All tuition fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable. Enrolled courses cannot be exchanged for cash or used for other courses.  

• MAC Education Centre only accepts payment by cash, bank transfer, or cheque. Cheques should be made payable to “MAC Education Centre”.
   

2. Class Attendance 🧒🏻👦🏻📚👩🏻‍🎓👨🏻‍🎓  

• Students should arrive at MAC Education Centre 5 minutes early to prepare for class. No extra time will be given for latecomers.  

• Parents must settle tuition fees before the lesson; otherwise the student may be refused entry to the classroom.  

• Each course has at least two teachers responsible; no specific teacher can be requested.  

• If a teacher is absent, another teacher will take the class. MAC Education Centre reserves the final decision on all teacher arrangements.  

• For safety reasons, students must leave the Centre immediately after class and are not allowed to stay behind. Parents should wait outside before dismissal time. MAC Education Centre will not be responsible for any accidents that occur after class ends.  

• Students must follow the teacher’s instructions at all times. MAC Education Centre will not be responsible for any accidents caused by failure to follow instructions.  

• No food or drinks (except water) are allowed inside the centre.  

• Students must wear socks when entering the English interactive classroom.
   

3. Leave of Absence & Make-up Classes 😷 📅  

• Regular classes that fall on public holidays will be rescheduled for make-up; no extension of the original schedule.  

• For personal leave, parents must notify the centre at least 24 hours before the lesson start time. Notifications received less than 24 hours in advance or no-shows will not be eligible for make-up classes, and no refund or extension will be provided.  

• For sick leave, a doctor’s certificate is required. The Centre will arrange a make-up class (no extension or refund).  

• Due to the high volume of students and enquiries, parents are requested to proactively contact the centre after taking leave to schedule the make-up class. Make-up classes must be completed within the same academic year (1 September to 31 August of the following year); otherwise the make-up right will be forfeited and no refund will be given.  

• To change class time in advance, please contact the Centre at least 14 working days before the original lesson due to limited availability.
   

4. Bad Weather Arrangements ⛈️🌀  
Before class starts  

• If the 🔴 Red Rainstorm Warning is hoisted 2 hours before class, all kindergarten classes will be cancelled; primary and secondary classes will proceed as usual.  

• If the ⚫ Black Rainstorm Warning, Typhoon Signal No. 8 or higher, or Extreme Conditions is hoisted 2 hours before class, all classes will be cancelled and the centre will close.  

• When Typhoon Signal No. 8 is lowered to No. 3 or below, or Red Rainstorm is lowered or cancelled, the centre will resume normal operation 2 hours after the signal is lowered. Parents/students will be notified via 💬WhatsApp of the revised class time or make-up arrangement.  

• All classes cancelled due to bad weather will be rescheduled for make-up; no refund will be given.  

During class  

• If a bad weather warning is hoisted while class is in session, the lesson will continue. Teachers will ensure student safety and assist with pick-up arrangements. Students should only leave when parents arrive and it is safe to do so.
   

5. 👑Top-School-Elite English Course👑  

• The Elite Course operates on a term system with four terms per year, each term consisting of 12 lessons, starting from the first week of September and progressing weekly (Week 1, Week 2, Week 3, etc.).  

• For any leave request, please notify the Centre at least 7 days in advance so that a make-up can be arranged within the same week in another available slot. Otherwise, make-up may be arranged in a mixed-grade class unless other students also take a leave that week and we can arrange a make-up lesson for the students in the same time slot. Thank you for your understanding.  

• As the Elite Course runs for 52 weeks throughout the year, any lesson falling on a public holiday will be rescheduled separately. There will be no extension or refund to avoid disrupting learning progress.
